Welcome to my small corner of the internet.

In 2024 I launched my first collection, “The Coloury Cushions“. I’ve been working on these pieces since 2022 as and when I felt inspired.

My art is inspired by my life experiences, the things around me and the people I love. There is an extra dimension too, one that is hard to explain. Perhaps I can crystallise it by saying sometimes when my mind is at peace, and the world is still, forms and textures manifest. To me they appear real there and then and I hope to capture them quickly as they reveal themselves. My friends call them hidden animals.

My art is my passion, hours flow easily and briskly yet at the end of each piece I’m satisfied.

The Coloury Cushions collection are my landscape and nature realisations. These are may own works and I hope you enjoy them.

Artist in Staffordshire

I hope you enjoyed looking at my works.

I’m based in Staffordshire, which is about half way up England. I have lived here all my life where I worked and brought up a family. I love Staffordshire, the people are friendly and supportive. The local art club is where I first began connecting with other people and I’ve made many great friends.

I’ve learned a lot from the artist David Brammeld, one of Staffordshire’s famous artists. His teachings and support have shaped my art in various ways to where I am today.
