A bit about me…
Hi, I began my painting career later in life when I really found my passion. I learned initially from local groups and then from the artist David Brammeld.
In addition to learning painting I was creating my own art pieces for friends and family. One style I really like a lot is to create a background of colour and then let a picture arise from the shapes and textures in my imagination.
I love to paint flowers, landscapes, and hidden animals. A form will arise in my imagination when considering the piece and I will paint it, but can you find them? Very often they are not in plain sight. Once you can see them you will see them forever. You have to train your imagination and then they appear.
